Level tests pace the curriculum, mat time has to add up before a test, and intensity means liability paperwork matters. Your software should take all three seriously.
- Practitioner-level ladders (P1–P5 style) — build your level system in rank tracking with class-count and time-at-level requirements per rank — and continue into graduate levels if your affiliation uses them.
- Curriculum phases on the schedule — run your P1 phases as their own classes so the calendar mirrors the curriculum, and set each level’s requirement — “40 classes and 120 days at level” — against real check-ins for the program.
- Seminar & certification events — level tests, weapons-defense seminars, and instructor-certification days run as events with disabled-by-default free member registration, capacity limits, and indicative fee records. Paid checkout is not live.
- Waivers, front and center — full-contact stress drills mean liability is not optional. E-signature waivers are built into onboarding, so every student — member, trial, or seminar guest — is covered before they step on the floor.
