Connect and run ClassPass
Choose excess class inventory, complete partner onboarding, receive reservations, and report attendance.
ClassPass approval required
The Dojo Wizard controls and Inventory API are built, but marketplace activation requires ClassPass partner onboarding, integrator certification, and the platform release switch.
Before you start
- A ClassPass partner agreement for the school.
- At least one recurring class with a physical venue address.
- A total class capacity and the smaller number of spots you want to offer through ClassPass.
- Dojo Wizard Inventory API certification, which the platform team completes with ClassPass.
Start ClassPass partner onboarding
Open the ClassPass integration page and follow Start partner onboarding. ClassPass controls business approval, listing terms, payouts, cancellation rules, and activation.
Dojo Wizard does not create a ClassPass account automatically and cannot turn on marketplace inventory before ClassPass approves the school and the platform connection.
Complete every venue address
A class without a branch uses the primary school address. A class assigned to a location uses that location’s address and timezone.
Street, city, state, and postal code are required before a recurring class can be published.
Choose the ClassPass inventory
For each recurring class, turn on Offer this recurring class on ClassPass and set the maximum ClassPass spots. This should normally be lower than the total class capacity.
Dojo Wizard reports the smaller of the remaining ClassPass allocation and the class’s actual open capacity, so direct check-ins and ClassPass reservations cannot claim the same last spot.
Set booking and cancellation windows
Choose how many days ahead inventory opens and how many minutes before class new ClassPass reservations close.
Use the late cancellation window agreed with ClassPass, up to ClassPass’s 12-hour maximum. Dojo Wizard records normal cancellations, late cancellations, attended visits, no-shows, and class cancellations separately.
Accept the inventory terms and enable the school
The owner confirms that ClassPass guest data is used only to fulfill reservations and attendance—not marketing. ClassPass guests are not automatically added to Leads & trials and never receive nurture consent from a booking.
The owner-level switch and the platform certification switch must both be on before the school appears in Inventory API results.
Run the combined class roster
Open the class session. ClassPass reservations appear above direct member check-ins with a ClassPass badge and current status.
After class, mark each active reservation Attended or No-show. ClassPass polls the Inventory API attendance endpoint, so prompt and accurate updates matter.
Troubleshooting
If something looks wrong
Why can’t I publish a class?
The recurring class must be active, its ClassPass inventory must be positive and no greater than total capacity, and its primary or branch address must be complete.
Why does the page say Awaiting ClassPass certification?
The school configuration is saved, but the platform-wide Inventory API credentials or certification switch are still off. Dojo Wizard support completes that step after ClassPass approves the integration.
Why can’t I remove a recurring class?
The class has ClassPass booking history. Dojo Wizard preserves it for attendance and payout reconciliation; keep the recurring class instead of deleting it.
Does a ClassPass booking become a lead?
No. Inventory API guest data is operational reservation data only. Create a lead only after the guest separately asks the school for follow-up and gives the appropriate consent.
