Run a sale at the front desk
Choose products visually, find the right student, hold an interrupted sale, and complete a clear payment and receipt flow.

Available in early access
This workflow is available in controlled early access. Follow the documented safeguards and keep a manual fallback.
Before you start
- An active product with a price.
- Staff access to Pro shop. Integrated card options also need the school’s Stripe and device setup to be ready.
Build the sale from product cards
Open Pro shop, then Checkout. Tap a product card to add it. Search by name, size, SKU, or barcode and use the category filters to narrow the inventory.
Review the selected size, quantities, and total in Current sale. Scanning is optional. Use Scan barcode only when the desk has a scanner.
Choose the customer
Leave Walk-in customer selected for a guest, or search by the student’s name, email, or phone. Check the identifying details and choose the correct result.
The selected customer appears in the sale summary. Check that identity before taking payment. A parent paying for a child does not need a separate student record just to make the purchase.
Hold an interrupted sale
Choose Hold sale before handling another desk task. If you follow an in-app link with items still in the cart, choose Hold sale & continue, Keep selling, or Leave without saving.
Back in Checkout, open Your held sales and choose Resume. Held sales belong to the same staff account and school. Finish or hold the current cart before opening another.
Review prices and availability again after resuming. Held items are not reserved, and a held sale has not been paid. Use the explicit discard action when the sale is no longer needed.
Take the right type of payment
Review the total, then choose the payment method. Tap or insert sends the amount to the selected connected reader. Card entry uses the secure Stripe form. Tap to Pay appears only in a supported, enabled native staff app.
For Cash, enter Cash received or choose an amount shortcut. The screen shows the change to give. A short amount must be corrected before recording a paid cash sale.
Paid elsewhere records a payment already collected outside Dojo Wizard. Do not choose an integrated card option after that payment has already been taken.
Confirm payment and give the receipt
Wait for the confirmed sale result before handing over the goods. If a card payment is processing or the connection drops, check or resume the existing attempt before trying another payment.
After a reload or interruption, Card payments to finish in Checkout lists saved card-entry payments. Choose Review payment, or open the receipt and choose Review card payment. Check or resume payment reopens the original attempt. Back to sale closes it only after Stripe confirms it is safe; if it already succeeded, use the paid receipt instead.
Open the receipt to review or print it. Use Pro shop > Receipts to find an earlier sale by receipt number, customer name, or email. Refunds, returns & fulfillment stays in a secondary section on the receipt.
Owners and managers should review refund status and stock separately. A Stripe refund returns money through Stripe; it does not automatically restock goods. A recorded external return does not create a Stripe refund.
Troubleshooting
If something looks wrong
Can I go back before payment?
Use Back to sale while reviewing payment. If a card attempt has already started, use its cancel or status controls and wait for a definite result before changing the sale.
Why did the total change when I resumed?
The current product prices, stock, and customer eligibility are checked again. Review the refreshed cart before confirming payment.
Why is a card option unavailable?
An owner needs to review the school’s Stripe status and any reader or native-device setup. Use another enabled method only after checking that the existing payment attempt did not succeed.
