Understand pricing and payment fees
Separate Dojo Wizard’s proposed core pricing, optional Growth and usage costs, the membership prices your school sets, Stripe processing costs, and setup services.
Available now
This workflow is available in the live web product. Follow the documented data controls and keep appropriate operational backups.
Before you start
- An estimate of the school’s active, billable membership count.
- The membership offers and prices the school plans to charge families.
- The school’s own Stripe pricing and service agreement when estimating processing cost.
Separate the three kinds of money
Dojo Wizard core platform pricing is what the school may pay for the software. Growth Autopilot and metered external usage are separate. Membership plans are the tuition offers the school creates for members. Stripe processing and other payment-service fees belong to the school’s connected Stripe account.
Changing a tuition price does not directly change the Dojo Wizard software price, and the platform does not add a percentage application fee to a member payment.
Use the proposed core pricing
The proposed monthly core prices are $49 for 1–50 active students, $99 for 51–150, $149 for 151–300, and $199 for 301 or more.
Proposed annual totals are $468, $948, $1,428, and $1,908—effective monthly rates of $39, $79, $119, and $159 for the same four active-student ranges.
Understand what is not active yet
Dojo Wizard platform subscription metering and paid activation are not active yet. No card is required to create and configure a school workspace.
The intended active-member definition is a student with an active, billable membership; frozen members, prospects, trial students, and leads are intended not to count. The final policy will be published before paid activation.
Explain direct Stripe processing correctly
Member tuition is collected in the school-owned connected Stripe account, and the school remains merchant of record. Dojo Wizard does not take an application fee from those charges.
Stripe fees can vary by account, payment method, country, currency, Billing features, disputes, and other services. Use the school’s Stripe agreement and Stripe’s current pricing page rather than promising one universal rate.
Keep optional services separate
Growth Autopilot has a separate proposed $59 per month founding-customer target. SMS, AI, ad spend, and other metered external usage are separate and require disclosure before activation.
Guided self-service onboarding and the Help Center are included. Optional white-glove setup and supported migration start at a one-time $149 service fee after scope review.
Integrated custom martial arts websites start at a one-time $299 setup fee for the published starting scope. Domain registration, software subscription, larger sites, and specialized migration work remain separate.
Troubleshooting
If something looks wrong
Does connecting Stripe start the Dojo Wizard software charge?
No. Stripe Connect is used for the school’s member billing. Dojo Wizard platform metering and paid activation remain separate and are not active yet.
Does Dojo Wizard take a percentage of tuition?
No application fee is added by Dojo Wizard. Stripe and other school-selected payment services may still charge their own fees.
What will count as an active member?
The intended definition is one student record with at least one active, billable membership. Multiple programs count once; frozen members, prospects, trials, leads, non-training guardians, and staff are intended not to count. The final grace-period, cycle-close policy, definition, and billing terms will be published before owner-approved paid activation.
